A Bit About Me
I have had a variety of life experiences but have always found myself coming back to working with kids and I think it's because I find them so fresh and inspiring. They are the beginning. They can go through a day starting over a hundred times and still call it a good day. They learn so much in day like a sponge. They are simply adorable too.

I am the youngest of four, so while I didn't find myself helping with younger siblings growing up, I did help with nieces and nephews. Later I would volunteer my time teaching at camps and schools. I really started working with kids when I taught abroad in China for five years. I taught all ages but really bonded at the kindergarten and preschool levels. That is also when I met Mu, my adopted son, when he was just two years old. We brought him to the U.S. when he was five years old and didn't know any English. I taught him through reading stories to him every night.

I've worked as an AVID tutor in South Washington County Schools and a substitute teacher in Hastings School District with all ages. I've been a stay at home mom to my three younger children Lucille, Fiona and Jacob during their difficult pregnancies. A proud mama of four, I finished my Master's degree exit interview with a baby on my lap and a toddler at my feet. I've always wanted to work with educating children and I feel that running a home daycare with a preschool curriculum will be the perfect fit for me and my family.
